Elon Musk Endorses: Path of Exile 2 Gets Major Update, Name Change Feature Added

The creators of Path of Exile 2 have rolled out a substantial update, version 0.1.1c, and they're excited to share the latest enhancements and modifications with the community. This update addresses several bugs and introduces new features to enrich your gaming experience.

Among the fixes, a critical bug that could lead to losing access to the Cartwalker Machine during character transfers from solo leagues has been resolved. In local cooperative mode, issues where player 2 could inadvertently unlock player 1's UI items, such as high-level maps, have been corrected. Additionally, a glitch preventing player 2 from moving quickly between control points in local co-op has been fixed.

New gameplay elements have been added, including up to five revival attempts in challenging areas such as the Distorted Possessions, the battle with Olroth, the Source of the Fall, and the Essence of Nonexistence realm. These revival options vary depending on the difficulty level. Notably, if you die before defeating the Host in The Mists, you'll be revived directly in the boss battle arena, allowing you to restart the fight.

Grinding Gear Games also focuses on improving user service with this update. Players can now rename their characters directly through the website, adding a personalized touch to their gaming profiles.
