"Like A Dragon Launches 20th Anniversary Merch Voting Project"

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is making the 20th anniversary of Like A Dragon (LAD) an unforgettable celebration by involving fans in a unique way. Fans now have the chance to vote on their favorite in-game items to be transformed into real-world merchandise. This special voting project marks the beginning of a year-long celebration leading up to December 2025, when LAD will hit its 20th milestone.

Fans Can Vote For Like a Dragon 20th Anniversary Merch Until March 21, 2025

The voting project kicked off on February 8, 2025, and will continue until March 21, 2025. Fans can select from a diverse array of 100 items, ranging from lingerie and incense to mahjong tiles, a karaoke microphone, a luxury lighter, 20th-anniversary sake, themed pillows, and Kiryu’s iconic dragon mask, among other game-inspired collectibles. The RGG voting website assures that the item receiving the highest number of votes will definitely be turned into a commercial product within the next two years. Participants can vote once per day, and following the voting period, a questionnaire will be released to finalize the design of the top-voted item.

Like A Dragon 20th Anniversary May Possibly See More Yakuza Remakes

RGG Studio hinted at their plans for the 20th anniversary in a December 8, 2024, Twitter (X) post during their 19th Anniversary. Masayoshi Yokoyama, RGG Studios Director and Executive Producer, expressed his gratitude to the fans and teased a series of events and announcements leading up to the big celebration. The first of these initiatives is the launch of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, set to release on February 20, 2025.

While no further announcements have been made since the video, the studio's 10th anniversary celebration, which included the announcement of Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami remakes, suggests that fans might see more remakes for the 20th anniversary. The anticipation is high among the LAD community for what RGG has in store.

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii PC Requirements

On February 10, 2025, RGG Studio shared the PC requirements for Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on Twitter (X). The game's recommended graphics card is the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or any equivalent or newer, which is within reach for most modern gaming setups. Given that the game is also launching on previous-gen consoles like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the PC specifications are set to be easily achievable.

RGG Studios has also confirmed that the game is Steam Deck verified, ensuring a smooth experience for portable gaming enthusiasts. Additionally, SEGA released a story trailer on YouTube, narrated by the character Pirate King Raymond Law, voiced by wrestling superstar Samoa Joe, showcasing Majima's adventures on the high seas.
