Dead Cells Unveils Last Two Free Android Updates
Get ready, Dead Cells fans—the end of free updates is on the horizon, but not the end of the game itself! Since its launch in 2018, Dead Cells has been a non-stop thrill ride with constant fresh content. Now, as we approach the conclusion of this journey, let's delve into what the final updates for Dead Cells Mobile have in store for us.
What’s in Store?
The last two updates, Clean Cut and The End is Near, are now available on Android. After these updates, Dead Cells will no longer receive new content, but you can continue enjoying the game as it is. And let me tell you, these final updates are getting delightfully cursed.
First off, you'll get your hands on four new weapons that are anything but ordinary. The giant Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde sword stand out. The Misericorde is particularly brutal, dealing massive critical damage to enemies with less than half health. But beware—fail to finish them off, and you'll find yourself cursed.
Anathema, a heavy-ranged weapon, packs a punch with its explosive impact, but it also comes with a curse if it hits anything. And if you're looking for a powerful skill, Indulgence is your go-to. It unleashes a beam of light that deals massive damage and can even clear some of your curses.
These updates also introduce exciting new modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, giving you fresh ways to challenge yourself. Plus, there are 40 new heads to customize your character and an NPC who lets you swap them at your leisure.
Don't miss out on experiencing these final updates for yourself. Check out the trailer below to get a glimpse of what's coming:
New Mutations and Enemies Too
Alongside the new weapons and modes, Dead Cells is introducing some intriguing mutations. The Cursed Flask lets you use your health flask without consuming a charge, a real game-changer in tight spots. Damned Vigor gives you a few precious seconds to kill an enemy and save yourself from death, while Demonic Strength boosts your damage when you're cursed, turning your misfortune into power.
And let's not forget about the new enemies that are coming to challenge you. The Sore Loser sticks to you like glue and curses you when you finally defeat it. The Curser is no less daunting, shooting guided cursed skulls and slashing at you if you dare to get too close. And then there's the Doom Bringer, who can stack curses and outright kill you if she reaches 50 curses on you.
So, don't wait! Head over to the Google Play Store, download Dead Cells, and dive into these final updates while they're still fresh and new.
And while you're at it, keep an eye out for our upcoming news on the Adventure RPG with Food Souls, The Tale of Food Shutdown.
