Clash Royale has a new event: the Dart Goblin Evolution Draft! Running from January 6th for a week, this event centers around the recently introduced Evo Dart Goblin. This guide covers everything you need to know to succeed.

How the Clash Royale Dart Goblin Evolution Draft Works

The Dart Goblin's evolution is finally here! Similar to the Giant Snowball evolution event, Supercell lets players experience the Evo card in a draft format. The Evo Dart Goblin's enhanced power makes it a formidable opponent.

Stat-wise, the Evo Dart Goblin closely resembles its standard counterpart in Hitpoints, Damage, Hit Speed, and Range. However, its poison ability significantly boosts its effectiveness. Each dart inflicts poison damage on the target area, making it exceptionally strong against swarms and even tank units like the Giant. This often leads to favorable elixir trades.

Despite its power, simply selecting the Evo Dart Goblin doesn't guarantee victory. Strategic deck building is crucial.

Winning Strategies for Clash Royale's Dart Goblin Evo Draft Event

The Dart Goblin Evo Draft event allows players to use the Evo Dart Goblin, regardless of whether they've unlocked it. Unlike standard battles, you don't use your own deck; instead, you draft one for each match. The game presents two cards, and you choose one to add to your deck. Your opponent receives the unchosen card. This process repeats four times for each player.

Card choices range from air units (Phoenix, Inferno Dragon) to heavy hitters (Ram Rider, Prince, P.E.K.K.A.). Smart deck construction is key. If you secure the Evo Dart Goblin early, prioritize support cards that complement its strengths.

While one player receives the Evo Dart Goblin, the other might get cards like Evo Firecracker or Evo Bats. A strong spell card is essential. Spells like Arrows, Poison, or Fireball effectively counter the Dart Goblin and many air units (Minions, Skeleton Dragons), while also inflicting substantial tower damage.
