Crushed in Time brings Holmes and Watson back in this spin-off of There is No Game

• Crushed in Time is the latest spin-off title from There Is No Game
• Draw Me a Pixel brings Holmes and Watson back for a delightfully absurd new adventure
• Dive into a point-and-click puzzler that transports you through various stages of game development

Longtime readers may recall our coverage of the comedic point-and-click adventure There Is No Game. It recently reappeared as an Epic Games Store freebie, and now we’re excited to announce its newest spin-off: Crushed in Time!

Describing Draw Me a Pixel’s creations is no easy task; as Stephen noted, they embody “the highest order of quirkiness.” However, Crushed in Time appears to take a slightly more conventional approach—though certainly less mind-bending than playing a game that isn’t technically a game.

Crushed in Time marks the return of Holmes and Watson, who made a brief appearance in one segment of There Is No Game. This time, they’re investigating their own release’s development process, hopping between different stages to uncover what went wrong.

Crunch Time

Your goal? Locate a missing character from the recently launched game and restore everything to its proper state. Naturally, given Draw Me a Pixel’s style, it won’t be quite that simple—but it’ll still be just as entertaining.

Crushed in Time retains the signature point-and-click gameplay of the original There Is No Game. Instead of relying on classic tropes like dragging items from your inventory or using a rubber chicken with a pulley system, you’ll explore intuitive interactions and solve puzzles through clever object manipulation.

Set for release in 2026 on mobile and PC, Crushed in Time promises to be just as whimsical—and perhaps equally mind-bending—as its predecessor.
