Crashlands 2 Update 1.1: Compendium Returns

Crashlands 2's major update, version 1.1, is now live, bringing a host of new features and improvements that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly awaiting. Butterscotch Shenanigans has truly listened to the community with this update.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
The highlight of the update is the introduction of Legend Mode, which ramps up the difficulty beyond the existing Challenge Mode. On Woanope, enemies are not only faster and more aggressive but also boast significantly increased health. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become even more fragile, adding an extra layer of challenge. While there are no new achievements for conquering Legend Mode, completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels.
For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been added. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing players to focus on farming mushrooms, building cozy homes, and fishing without the constant threat of danger. It's the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the game's rich story, decorate your base, and interact with the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
One of the most requested features, The Compendium, makes a triumphant return. This tool meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, from pets and recipes to items, helping players keep tabs on their progress towards completing their collection.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 have become more than just companions; they now actively participate in battles, each with a unique ability that can be activated every 20 seconds. This adds a strategic element to combat, enhancing the gameplay experience.
Gear crafting has seen an overhaul as well, with new random bonus stats on armor, and a variety of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets have been introduced, offering players more options to customize their playstyle.
Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout the update. Players can now build on a wider range of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the darkness level at night, making the game more enjoyable and user-friendly.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store, having launched on April 10th. This update demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to responding to player feedback and continuously enhancing the game.
