by David Jun 12,2025

Physical copies of Monster Hunter Wilds will require a 15GB update to play, according to Capcom. This update is now available for those who have pre-ordered the digital version, allowing players to download it in advance and be ready to jump into the game when it officially launches on February 28.

The popular social media account Does It Play?, which supports physical media gaming, noted that this update isn’t mandatory for offline gameplay. However, they mentioned that the patch appears to address several technical and visual improvements that could enhance the overall gaming experience.

As of now, Capcom has not released official patch notes or details regarding the specific changes included in the update.
