"Campaign 3 of Critical Role Concludes Next Week in Epic 8-Hour Finale"

by Amelia May 14,2025

The beloved Dungeons & Dragons show, Critical Role, featuring voice actors like Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham, and more, is set to conclude its third campaign next week with a monumental eight-and-a-half hour stream. As reported by Polygon, the final episode of Campaign 3 will begin airing on February 6 at 7pm Pacific / 10pm Eastern, which translates to February 7 at 3am for UK viewers. You can catch this epic finale on Critical Role's YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as through their exclusive membership service, Beacon.

This episode will wrap up the adventures of the Bells Hells party, which kicked off in October 2021. While no direct spin-offs or sequels have been confirmed for their story, Critical Role assures fans that more tales set in the world of Exandria, the backdrop for all their campaigns, are on the horizon.

"This finale for Campaign 3 marks the end of one very epic chapter of Exandrian history," said Marisha Ray, who serves as both a creative director and a cast member. "But while we celebrate the end of this chapter, I think it’s important to know that the story continues with a simple turn of the page. I’m very excited to see what happens next in this story that remains to be written by the incredible emergent storytellers who are picking up the pen."

Even with the conclusion of Campaign 3, Critical Role's programming won't skip a beat. A new spin-off, Exandria Unlimited, will premiere its first of four episodes on February 14, just a week after the finale. Fans can also look forward to a variety of other shows and streams following the campaign's end.

As for the eagerly anticipated Campaign 4, Critical Role has yet to announce its start date. Typically, there's a brief hiatus between campaigns; for instance, the first series, Vox Machina, ended in October 2017, and the second, Mighty Nein, began in January 2018. This pattern continued with Mighty Nein concluding in June 2021 and Campaign 3 starting in October of the same year. Given this precedent, it shouldn't be long before Critical Role unveils the beginning of their next grand adventure. Coincidentally, the show's 10-year anniversary falls on March 12, which could be a perfect occasion for an announcement, if not the launch of the new series itself.
