Call of Duty: New Feature to Tackle Player Challenges Revealed

Treyarch is developing a highly anticipated in-game challenge tracker for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This feature, absent from the initial release despite its presence in 2023's Modern Warfare 3, is currently under development. While a release date remains unannounced, its arrival is expected soon, potentially coinciding with the Season 2 update later this month.

A recent January 9th update addressed various bug fixes across Multiplayer and Zombies modes. Significant changes to the Zombies mode reversed controversial alterations from a January 3rd patch, restoring the original round timing and zombie spawning mechanics in Directed Mode following player feedback.

Challenge Tracker Confirmed

Treyarch directly confirmed the challenge tracker's development on Twitter, responding to fan requests. The feature's inclusion is highly sought after, especially for players pursuing Mastery camos. It's anticipated to function similarly to Modern Warfare 3's system, providing real-time challenge progress updates within the game's UI.

Additional Improvements on the Horizon

Beyond the challenge tracker, Treyarch also confirmed the development of separate HUD settings for Multiplayer and Zombies modes. This highly requested feature will eliminate the need for players to constantly adjust HUD settings when switching between game modes. Both features are currently in development, promising a more streamlined and enjoyable Black Ops 6 experience.
