Angry Birds 2 Is Bringing Back Its Space Biome with New Mechanics

Rovio Entertainment has unveiled Angry Birds 2 Space, a time-limited in-game event that brings back the beloved Space biome with a fresh cosmic overhaul. This revival, driven by years of community demand, features new gameplay mechanics and a vibrant, reimagined space environment.

When does Angry Birds 2 Space begin?

The event launches on October 24th and runs through November 21st on Android. Players will join a shared galactic journey, collaborating as a global flock to collect feathers. Progress is tracked in real time on the official Angry Birds 2 Space website, featuring a live-updating progress bar that reflects the community’s combined efforts.

As the feather collection hits key milestones, rewards begin to unlock—offering in-game currency, stylish cosmetic items, and bonus feathers. All contributions lead to a final, epic milestone: Red, the franchise’s iconic bird, will be launched into space.

Angry Birds 2 Space also introduces innovative mechanics, including a planet-based gravity system. Use orbiting planets to sling birds around and strike pig structures from surprising angles.

Weekly themed events are also part of the adventure.

Each week, players face levels packed with Gravity-Defying Elements. The journey spans multiple planets, from standard gravity zones to Reverse Planets that push birds away—and massive Mega Planets that alter flight dynamics. The environment includes Gravity Zones and Gravitational Wind, both influencing how birds soar and aim.
