Learn to read Spanish

Reading is one of the most crucial skills to teach in preschool and the early years of Elementary school, as it forms the foundation for everything children will do in school and throughout most of their adult lives.

Children are digital natives who love computers and tablets. We can leverage this enthusiasm to review

or enhance what they are already learning at school.

METHOD

Designed for children aged 3 to 6 or 7, and even adults looking to improve pronunciation, this program teaches Spanish reading through phonics.

The method is divided into a letter tracing section and 30 lessons, starting with vowels and progressing through L, M, S, T, P, N, D, F, H, C, Q, CH, G, GUE, R, -rr- - R, B, V, G, J, GE, GUE, Y, Z, CE, LL, X, K.

Each lesson features 11 games, all available in two difficulty levels. Perfect for parents and teachers seeking a fun way to practice early Spanish syllables and words with children. Encourage kids to listen and solve the exercises; they don't need to understand everything immediately.

Learning to read is a lengthy journey that can span over a year. We recommend short, daily practice sessions, periodically revisiting previously learned material, and always adapting the exercise type and level. Crucially, it should feel like play.

LEVELS

Every game offers two difficulty levels, changeable at any time. Children progress at their own pace, and can pause a game to return later. As they solve games, they earn fruits.

The first level is suitable for three-year-olds, sometimes even younger with parental or educator support. Games at this level include helpful instructions. The second level is more complex. Encourage children to tackle it as they are ready, but always remember that learning should be fun.

We recommend parents or guardians adjust the difficulty to match the child's abilities. Avoid pressuring them excessively to complete a level or advance to the next stage.

- Change the font: uppercase, lowercase, and cursive.

- Enable/Disable automatic activity: when active, the app will switch to another game after a set number of exercises.

- Shuffle: rearrange the syllables.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Create up to three profiles (avatars) for different children. Track each child’s progress per level, including correct and incorrect answers, represented as a percentage with a fun fruit visualization.

Fruits are a playful way to motivate children to keep playing. When you have fruits in the basket, tap it to feed them to the little aliens.
