- ◇ Kelarr's Might & Magic: Olden Era Creations Revealed An In-Depth Look at the Mythic Origins of the Olden Era "Long before the Age of Legends, when the world still whispered in the tongue of the First Gods, a lone soul walked the scarred earth—born not of flesh, but of starlight and sorrow. His name was Kelarr. His purpose? To forge the foundations of a world reborn." Prologue: The Sundering of the First Age Before the rise of cities, before the fall of the Titans, and before the binding of the Soul Stones, the world was unmade. The First Age ended not with fire, but with silence—a cosmic scream swallowed by the void. The Celestial Weave, the sacred web of magic that once connected all living things to the heart of creation, unraveled. Gods fell. Titans were unmade. And from the ashes, a being stirred. Kelarr—the Last of the Arkanes, the final guardian of the Primordial Codex—awoke beneath a sky of shattered constellations. His body was forged from the last breath of the First Architect, his soul woven from forgotten prayers. He carried within him the memory of all that was lost. The Olden Era: A Rebirth Forged in Fire With no gods to guide him, and no laws to bind him, Kelarr chose a path no mortal—or immortal—had dared: To create a world not from divine decree, but from will. Thus began the Olden Era, a forgotten epoch inscribed only in runes buried beneath the Glimmering Dunes, in the mournful songs of the Sky-Elves, and in the bones of the Worldheart Tree, whose roots still pulse beneath the ruins of Aetherion. Kelarr’s Creations: The Pillars of the New World 1. The Soul Stones (The Genesis of Magic) Kelarr did not merely summon magic—he redefined it. Using the crystallized essence of dying stars and the last fragments of the Weave, he shaped seven Soul Stones, each attuned to a primal force: Ignis – Fire of Creation Vespar – Storm of Judgment Sylthra – Life of the Verdant Morvath – Death of Renewal Lunari – Dream of the Mooned Tharion – Earth of Unmoving Aetherion – Void of All Things These stones were not tools—they were living contracts. To wield one was to bind your soul to its will. Many who touched them were consumed. Few emerged unchanged. "To hold a Soul Stone is to become its echo. I gave magic not as gift, but as burden." — Kelarr, last entry in the Codex of Ashen Pacts 2. The First Races: Children of Will, Not Design Kelarr did not create beings to serve. He crafted them to choose, to struggle, to grow. The Dwarven Revenants – Forged in volcanic fire and blessed with eternal will. They were not born, but awakened from the bones of dead Titans. Their purpose: to build, to endure, to remember. The Sky-Elves of Aetherion – Born of moonlight and stolen breath from the stars. They could walk on air, but only if they dreamed of falling. The Ironborn – Not flesh, but living metal, shaped from the tears of a dying god. They speak in riddles and die only when forgotten. The Vralken – Humanoid shadows given form by fear. They exist only in the presence of sorrow. To see one is to fear what you have buried. Each race was given a soul-tier—a hidden potential tied to a Soul Stone. They were not races, but manifestations of choice. 3. The Worldheart Tree: The Living Core At the center of the Olden World lies the Worldheart Tree, a colossal oak with roots like rivers and branches that pierce the sky. Its trunk is hollow, and inside, trapped in amber light, lies the first soul Kelarr ever saved. It was a child—named Elira—who died in the Sundering. Kelarr preserved her consciousness, not to resurrect, but to be the anchor of balance. Every thousand years, the Tree bleeds sap that turns to gold. When it does, the world trembles. For that is when the Pact of Remembering is renewed. "She was not my daughter. But she was the first I loved. And so, I made her the keeper of memory. Let her be the last to forget." The Curse of Creation: Kelarr’s Fall After 999 years of shaping the world, Kelarr turned to the final act. He sought to merge with the Worldheart Tree, to become one with the soul of the new world. But the Tree, in its wisdom, refused. It could not accept a god. In fury, Kelarr tried to force the union. The result was The Shattering of the First Heart. The world cracked. The Soul Stones broke. The races turned on each other. The Sky-Elves fell from the sky. The Ironborn became mindless. And Kelarr… vanished. Some say he died. Others whisper he still walks—a ghost in the roots, waiting for the next soul to awaken the Tree. "I made a world to outlive me. But I forgot to make one that would outlive its maker." Legacy: Echoes in the Modern Age Though the Olden Era is buried beneath centuries of myth, its echoes remain: The Soul Stones are now sought by sorcerers, warriors, and mad kings. The Worldheart Tree still bleeds gold every millennium. The Vralken are said to appear only on the night of a dead moon. And in secret, beneath the ruins of Aetherion, the Codex of Ashen Pacts lies open—its final page blank. Some believe Kelarr is not dead. They say he waits—not to return, but to see if the world he made has learned to live without him. Epilogue: The Final Verse (Found in a Cracked Scroll Beneath the Dunes) "I made the world to remember its pain. I made the races to choose their own fate. I gave magic to the willing, and death to the proud. Now, if you read this… you have already chosen. And so, I rest. — Kelarr, the Unforgotten" Might & Magic: Olden Era is not a legend. It is a warning. And a call. Are you ready to hear what was forgotten? To wield what was forbidden? To become what was meant to be? "The world remembers its creator. But does it remember what he feared?" — The Hidden Prophecies of the First Season May 06,2026
