Zenless Zone Zero: New Heroine Evelyn Gameplay Revealed

miHoYo (HoYoverse) continues to expand the Zenless Zone Zero universe, introducing a captivating new heroine: Evelyn Chevalier. Even before her official release, Evelyn captured players' hearts during testing, thanks to a unique battle quirk—she dramatically removes her cape and uses it as a weapon against enemies.

Evelyn is an S-rank Fire-element Assault character, joining Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi in Zenless Zone Zero 1.5's second banner. The 1.5 update also brings the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) Polychrome compensation. Players will receive 300 Polychromes for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements related to the update, delivered directly to their in-game mail.

Evelyn's gameplay centers around targeted attacks. Her basic attacks draw enemies in, creating extended attack chains. Multi-stage and special attacks utilize her "Forbidden Bounds" ability, binding her to the primary target. These skills not only deal damage but also generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling her powerful fire-based abilities. This, combined with her signature cape-throwing attack, makes her a visually striking and effective combatant. Many players, already familiar with leaks, are eagerly anticipating her arrival.
