WoW Unveils Exciting Timewalking Return

World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways!

World of Warcraft's Turbulent Timeways event is back, and it's bigger than ever! Running for seven consecutive weeks until February 24th, this event offers a non-stop Timewalking experience across various expansions. Players can earn a wealth of rewards, including a generous supply of Timewarped Badges, a significant experience boost, and a chance to acquire a coveted new mount.

This extended Timewalking celebration builds upon the successful five-week event from September 2023. The familiar Mastery of Timeways buff returns, providing a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons. This time, however, players aiming for the new achievement have a more forgiving timeframe.

The Timewalking Tour:

The seven-week journey through WoW's history unfolds as follows:

• January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic
• February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
• February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
• February 18-24: Cataclysm

Rewards and Achievements:

Completing the Mastery of Timeways buff in five out of the seven weeks unlocks the "Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2" achievement, rewarding players with the adorable Timely Buzzbee mount. Timewalking vendors have also stocked new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. The Sandy Shalewing pet, previously exclusive to the initial Turbulent Timeways event, is also available. Furthermore, the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest rewards Heroic-level gear throughout the event's duration.

Looking Ahead:

With the Turbulent Timeways concluding on February 24th, speculation points towards the release of World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined," on February 25th. This aligns with Blizzard's typical release cadence and suggests a busy start to 2025 for WoW players, with the Turbulent Timeways, Plunderstorm's second run (January 14th - February 17th), and The War Within's first major content update all converging within a short timeframe.
