Secure the Coward's Azure Target: A World of Warcraft Twitch Drop

World of Warcraft is offering a new back transmog, the Coward's Azure Target, as a Twitch Drop to celebrate the return of Plunderstorm. This free cosmetic item is available for a limited time.

Claiming Your Reward:

To obtain the Coward's Azure Target, simply follow these steps:

  1. Link Accounts: Connect your Battle.net and Twitch accounts through the Connections page on Twitch.
  2. Watch WoW Streams: Tune in to any World of Warcraft streamer on Twitch for a cumulative four hours between January 14th and February 4th, 10 AM PST.
  3. Claim Your Drop: Retrieve the Coward's Azure Target from your Twitch inventory.
  4. Enjoy Your Transmog: The item will automatically appear in your Warband transmog Collections.

Plunderstorm's Return:

Plunderstorm, the popular battle royale mode, returns to World of Warcraft on January 14th, lasting approximately one month. This event features a range of rewards through the Plunderstore. The Coward's Azure Target, however, is a separate reward obtainable solely through Twitch viewing, regardless of Plunderstorm participation.

A New Transmog:

The Coward's Azure Target is a brand-new transmog, a reimagining of the Coward's Violet Target from the August 2024 Trading Post. While the Violet Target received mixed reactions, this Azure variant offers another opportunity to snag free in-game cosmetics.

Beyond the Drop:

Even if this Twitch Drop isn't your style, World of Warcraft has much more in store. The highly anticipated Patch 11.1, the first major update for World of Warcraft: The War Within, is imminent, introducing customizable campsites to the character select screen. Expect another Twitch Drop event to coincide with Patch 11.1's launch.
