World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 is Adding More Areas than Just Undermine

WoW Patch 11.1, "Undermined," Expands Beyond Undermine: New Subzones Revealed

World of Warcraft's upcoming Patch 11.1, "Undermined," introduces the subterranean Goblin capital, Undermine. But the expansion goes beyond this central zone, adding at least two new subzones: Gutterville and Kaja’Coast.

Key takeaways:

  • Gutterville and Kaja’Coast: Two new subzones supplementing the main Undermine zone.
  • Gutterville's Location and Features: Situated in the Ringing Deeps' southeastern corner, likely containing Excavation Site 9 (a new delve) and potentially a corrupted area. It may serve as an entrance to Undermine.
  • Kaja’Coast's Location and Purpose: A Goblin encampment near Zuldazar's Bilgewater Bonanza, possibly another access point to Undermine. This location may house the drill-like tram showcased in the Warcraft Direct.

Exploring the New Locations:

Undermine itself boasts a central hub, Slam Central Station, depicted on maps with five apparent terminals. Given Gutterville and Kaja’Coast likely represent two of these, three more locations might receive Goblin-themed additions in Patch 11.1.

While Undermine is the focal point, Gutterville and Kaja’Coast significantly expand the playable area. Gutterville, with its potential corrupted region and delve, offers a distinct gameplay experience. Kaja’Coast, situated near a pre-existing location in Zuldazar, adds a new dimension to that area.

Release and PTR Access:

Patch 11.1's official release is estimated for mid-to-late February. However, the Public Test Realm (PTR) access is anticipated for early January, providing players with early access to explore these new zones.
