Tears of Themis Drops the Ballad of the Dunes Event with New MR Cards

HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils its latest update: "Ballad of the Dunes," a collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This exciting crossover event merges the game's signature detective elements with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a captivating city bordering the Gobi Desert.

What's New in "Ballad of the Dunes"?

This event masterfully blends history, romance, and mystery, transporting players to the ancient Silk Road. Key additions include:

• Four New MR Cards: Featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, each card showcases Dunhuang's cultural elements—from graceful apsaras to intricate murals and the unique pipa. Their designs evoke the artistry of the Mogao Caves, reflecting the Silk Road's vibrant history as a hub of art, culture, and trade during the Western Han Dynasty.

• Unique Card Stories: Each MR card ("In the Footsteps of Silk," "Serenade of the Soul," "Reverberation Through Time," and "Void of Creation") offers a distinct narrative, enhanced by Private Messages that delve into a thousand-year-old journey.

Event Rewards:

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A key challenge involves a cell-flipping game board. The grand prize is a choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Flipping 100 cells unlocks the exclusive "Celebration – Dunes" Namecard.
