Three years after the successful launch of It Takes Two, Hazelight Studios released a substantial update for their acclaimed cooperative adventure in May. A comprehensive list of changes was shared on Steam, showcasing the studio's commitment to their community. A notable improvement is the game's enhanced integration with Steam, eliminating the need for the EA launcher and enabling full Steam Deck compatibility.

Now, players can seamlessly connect with their Steam friends and invite them directly to join the game. Steam Family Sharing is also fully supported. While an EA account remains necessary to access EA servers for online play, local gameplay via Steam Remote Play no longer requires one.
