Despite this impressive milestone, a full release date remains elusive, with the game currently in closed beta. Closed beta players can also enjoy enhanced audio, thanks to recent improvements to sound effects and music.

Developed specifically for the Indian market, Indus offers standard battle royale gameplay with innovative features, including a unique Grudge system rewarding players for engaging rivals. Initially announced in 2022, the game has undergone several beta phases, consistently adding features and attracting a growing player base. While surpassing 11 million pre-registrations is a remarkable feat, the growth rate has shown some deceleration. The previous milestone of 10 million registrations was reached in March. Although an additional million players is substantial, the initial rapid growth hasn't been sustained.

Anticipation for Indus' public launch is high. While new features are always appreciated, the speculated late 2023 release didn't materialize. Hopefully, 2024 will bring a full release or at least a public beta.
