Streamer Masters Guitar Hero's Toughest Song at Double Speed
Clone Hero streamer and content creator CarnyJared has achieved an extraordinary feat by securing a full combo (FC) on DragonForce’s notorious Guitar Hero 3 song, Through the Fire and Flames, at an astonishing 200% speed. The event, marked as a monumental achievement, was shared with the world on February 27, 2025, through a video that encapsulated the culmination of a nine-month journey.
CarnyJared’s video description captures the intensity of the moment: “IT. IS. OVER.” As he embarked on his final successful run, hitting all 3,722 notes flawlessly, on-screen text highlighted the dedication behind this achievement. The streamer expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am rightfully thankful for everybody that has supported me throughout this ridiculous grind. I have the best supporters on the entire platform of Twitch and YouTube.”
He elaborated on the collective effort, stating, “We all spent an unfathomable amount of time staring at the same 3,722 notes, figuring out any possible way to hit them more efficiently. Somehow it worked out, and somehow I am able to sit in front of this computer which you have all cumulatively provided to me, and make a living playing Clone Hero.”

The challenge of Through the Fire and Flames at regular speed is daunting enough, but watching CarnyJared navigate the song at double speed is nothing short of mesmerizing. Completing a song that typically lasts seven and a half minutes in just over three minutes is a testament to his skill and perseverance.
In Clone Hero, achieving an FC means playing a song from start to finish without missing a single note. CarnyJared's video statistics show his progress: nearly 2,000 FC runs past the first bridge, 662 past the second bridge, and 227 up to the solo section. This recent 200% FC on Through the Fire and Flames marks only his fourth successful pass through the solo.
Reflecting on the achievement, CarnyJared shared, “This is a moment that will live with me forever. I am blessed every single day to wake up and have food in the kitchen, and a place to sleep because of you amazing group of people. And I also thank my family, who has not only supported me my whole life, but they all specifically watched and supported this entire grind at my lowest and highest points.”
Describing the FC as the “hardest thing” he’s ever done, CarnyJared's celebration mirrored the intensity of his nine-month effort. For those eager to delve into the journey behind this achievement, he announced plans for a comprehensive “1 hour+” documentary to be released in the coming months.
