Talk to Professor Lodochka

Proceed to the mission marker on Wild Island, locating Professor Lodochka at Quite's Camp. A priority objective will emerge: eliminating mercenaries in the area. These enemies will be clearly marked. It's advisable to have strong equipment, as further encounters await. Eliminate all marked enemies to proceed to Lodochka's location, unlocking the optional "Activate the Ventilation System" objective.

Activate the Ventilation System

Consult your map for a marked fuse. After retrieving it, another marker will appear to the north, indicating the engineering rooms. An invisible enemy patrols this area. Navigate the shelter's passageways to the engine room. Use the fuse to restore power to the ventilation system. Completing this optional objective simplifies the main mission, though it doesn't offer unique rewards.

Find the Signal Source

Before proceeding, consider acquiring better weaponry. Locate the marked cave entrance near the water. Navigate the caverns westward, descending and overcoming obstacles. A broken pipe provides access to higher cave levels. Reach the marked cone-shaped spire to find the emitter. An invisible enemy will again pose a threat on your return journey. Return to Professor Lodochka to complete the mission, unlocking "Hornet's Nest" as the next main quest.
