Three pivotal missions determine your ending: Subtle Matter, Dangerous Liaisons, and The Last Wish. Conveniently, these missions appear late in the game. Creating a manual save before Legends of the Zone allows you to experience all endings without a full replay.

She Will Never Be Free

This ending sees you siding with Strelok, aiming to protect the Zone. Achieving this requires antagonizing all other factions: rejecting Scar, fleeing Korshunov, and eliminating Kaymanov. Familiarizing yourself with Strelok's backstory from previous games enhances this ending's impact.

Project Y

• Subtle Matter: Life is for the living
• Dangerous Liaisons: [Escape]
• The Last Wish: [Lower the Gun]

This ending mirrors the previous one, except for your interaction with Kaymanov. By sparing him, you align yourself with his scientific approach, allowing the Zone to evolve without external control.

Today Never Ends

• The Last Wish: N/A

This path involves aiding Scar, leader of the Spark faction (and protagonist of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky). Your choices in only two of the three key missions determine this ending, leading to Scar's journey into the Shining Zone.

Brave New World

This ending involves allying with Colonel Krushunov and his campaign to eradicate the Zone. Similar to the Spark ending, only two missions influence this outcome.
