Stalker 2: Acquire the Unique Cavalier Rifle Guide

In *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*, players have a vast array of weapons to choose from, tailored to suit various playstyles. Among these, you'll find unique (named) variants of weapons that boast special modifications or increased power. One such weapon is the Cavalier, a sniper rifle that stands out due to its red-dot sight instead of a traditional magnification scope, making it exceptionally effective at short to medium ranges. Here’s how you can acquire this distinctive weapon.

How to Get the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

To obtain the Cavalier Sniper Rifle, head to the Military Unit within the Duga base in *Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl*. The rifle is located in a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously visited the Duga base to access the Journalist stash, you'll find it easy to enter through the second entrance.

Getting Inside the Warehouse Near the Military Unit of Duga Base

Upon entering the Duga base, navigate towards the Military Unit building as indicated on your map. You don't need to enter the building itself; instead, make your way around it to reach the greenhouse at the back. Be vigilant, as two Pseudogiants patrol the area and will attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse cautiously to avoid a confrontation with these dangerous mutants.

Once inside the greenhouse, you'll find yourself in the warehouse. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by swarms of rats that will start to nibble away at your health. Look for the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse and climb up to safety. Use a grenade to eliminate the rat swarms efficiently.

Break the Wooden Boards & Grab the Cavalier Rifle

After dealing with the rats, direct your attention to the warehouse ceiling above the entryway connecting to the greenhouse. You'll notice wooden boards painted yellow. Use your weapon to shoot these boards, causing the Cavalier sniper rifle to drop down.

Retrieve the weapon and make a safe exit from the Duga base. Once you have the Cavalier, you can enhance it further by visiting Screw, the technician at Rostok base. The Cavalier offers maximum damage with excellent accuracy, which can be improved with additional upgrades and modifications. For players who prefer not to use a scope on their sniper rifles, the Cavalier is an ideal choice, equipped with a red-dot sight that makes it perfect for close to medium-range engagements.
