Sonic Trilogy Updates Prepare for Film Launch

Get Ready for Sonic Mania: New Mobile Game Updates Inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog 3!

Sega is celebrating the upcoming release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 with a flurry of exciting updates for its popular Sonic mobile games. From Apple Arcade's Sonic Dream Team to Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces (available on the App Store and Google Play), players can expect fresh content directly inspired by the new movie.

First up, Sonic Forces receives a major update on December 12th, introducing a brand-new Metro-city Zone. This thrilling addition boasts three challenging tracks playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other familiar characters. Complete these levels before seeing the movie for the ultimate immersive experience!

Next, on December 18th, Sonic Dream Team gets a significant boost with the addition of Shadow as a playable character, complete with unique abilities. Unlock Shadow by tackling Tails’ Challenges. His Chaos Control and Chaos Shift powers allow for time manipulation, freezing enemies and the environment to overcome obstacles.

This update also introduces new powers like Quick Grind and Perfect Boost for all characters, and exclusive upgrades like Double Chaos Shift for Shadow. Six new Shadow-themed statues and music tracks are included, alongside a revised tutorial to help new players get started.

For Sonic Dash, the update drops on December 20th, offering players the chance to collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges provide additional rewards to keep the fun going. Sonic Dash+, on Apple Arcade, will receive its Shadow-themed updates in January.
