Sizzlipede Debuts at Pokémon Go's Bug Out Event

The Bug Out event is making its much-anticipated return to Pokémon Go, set to run from March 26th to 30th. This event promises an exciting array of Bug-type Pokémon, including the debut of Sizzlipede and its evolved form, Centiskorch. Players can look forward to a plethora of wild encounters, raid battles, special bonuses, and engaging challenges.

Lure Modules will be key during the Bug Out event. Not only will they draw in Sizzlipede, but they'll also increase the number of Pokémon appearing at a PokéStop, provided enough are caught using the same Lure Module.

Players will also benefit from double XP for Nice Throws or better, along with extra Candy and increased chances of Candy XL for trainers at level 31 and above. Shiny hunters will have better odds of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede.

Expect a swarm of Bug-type Pokémon in the wild, with frequent sightings of Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Keep an eye out for the rare appearance of Cutiefly.

Sizzlipede will be featured in one-star raids alongside Scyther and Nincada, while three-star raids will feature Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will earn you Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.

Don't miss out on the free Timed Research, which offers encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, along with a Lure Module. For those looking for extra rewards, the Paid Timed Research option ($2 or local equivalent) provides encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, plus two Premium Battle Passes and an additional Lure Module.
