Shinji Mikami Calls for Killer7 Sequel

Resident Evil's Mikami and Killer7's Suda51 Hint at Sequel and Remaster
During a recent Grasshopper Direct presentation focused on Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered, the possibility of both a Killer7 sequel and a complete edition was teased by its creator, Goichi "Suda51" Suda, and Resident Evil mastermind Shinji Mikami.
Killer7: A Sequel or a Remaster?
Mikami openly expressed his desire for a Killer7 sequel, calling the original one of his personal favorites. Suda51, equally enthusiastic, confirmed the possibility, even playfully suggesting titles like "Killer11" or "Killer7: Beyond."

The 2005 cult classic, known for its blend of horror, mystery, and over-the-top violence, follows Harman Smith and his seven distinct personalities. While a sequel has yet to materialize, Suda51 proposed a "Complete Edition," a suggestion Mikami jokingly dismissed. However, the discussion revealed that the original vision for Killer7 included significantly more dialogue for the character Coyote, a potential addition for this hypothetical remaster.
The prospect of a sequel or a complete edition has generated significant fan excitement. While nothing is confirmed, the developers' expressed interest has reignited hopes for the future of this unique title. The final decision, according to Suda51, will be between "Killer7: Beyond" and the Complete Edition.
