Serial Cleaner, the fiendishly fun puzzle game where you're a crime scene cleaner tasked with erasing evidence of mob violence, is making a comeback! Remember the 2019 release? This time, it's getting a mobile revival. But will it be a polished upgrade or simply a modernized port? Only time will tell.

Step back into the gritty, yet cartoonishly stylish, 1970s. Serial Cleaner drops you into the role of Bob Leaner, a professional crime scene cleaner with a unique set of challenges. Your job? Dispose of bodies, clean up blood, and hide any trace of the mob's brutal activities—all while evading watchful police officers. Think you can pull it off?

If this sounds familiar, you might recall our 2019 review. While praised for its potential, the original Serial Cleaner received mixed reviews. Now, developer Plug-In Digital is taking another shot, handling publishing duties for this mobile re-release.

Currently available for pre-registration, with a February 11th, 2025 release date, the extent of the improvements remains unclear. While a polished re-release would be welcome, given the time elapsed, significant upgrades might be optimistic.

Despite this, the core concept of Serial Cleaner remains incredibly compelling. However, a simple mobile port does dampen the excitement somewhat. Still, for Android users who missed out, or iOS players experiencing compatibility issues, this could be a welcome addition to their game library.
