Merrill confessed that this MMO project consumes a significant portion of his time, fueled by his personal passion for the genre and a belief that this dedication is crucial to its success. He also highlighted the immense desire among League of Legends fans for deeper immersion within their beloved universe as a key driver behind the project.

While specifics remain under wraps, including a release date, Merrill playfully suggested a launch before humanity's first Martian landing. The feasibility of this prediction remains to be seen.

It's important to note that another League of Legends universe game is in the works: 2XKO, a fighting game eagerly awaited by fans. Unlike the MMO, 2XKO boasts trailers and a projected release window before the year's end.
