Punishing: Gray Raven Blazing Simulacrum Patch Brings BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER to the Party

The acclaimed cyberpunk anime game, Punishing: Gray Raven, receives a major content update, "Blazing Simulacrum," featuring a crossover with the BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER franchise. This update is arguably the most significant since launch.

Key features of Blazing Simulacrum include: a new story chapter; new and returning SFX coatings; numerous limited-time events; and a brand-new A-Rank Omniframe, BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER, complete with an exclusive "Elder Flame" coating.

BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER is exceptionally new-player friendly, obtainable within 10 pulls. She wields the exclusive "★Rock Cannon" and boasts unique skills, including damage output during signature move activation, making her ideal for fire teams. Her design meticulously replicates the original character's style, from her signature blue eye flame to her costume and weapon usage.

Update Highlights:

The update also introduces new coatings (Snowbreak Bloom for Liv: Luminance, Nightbreaker for Lucia: Crimson Weave) and the return of others (Solitary Dream for Bianca: Stigmata, Vox Solaris for Selene: Capriccio). A new roguelike mode, Chessboard Realms, adds further gameplay variety.
