Balatro's Gameplay Mechanics

Each hand dealt introduces new Jokers, each possessing unique abilities to disrupt opponents or provide crucial advantages. Some Jokers multiply scores, while others provide extra funds for in-game shops.

Deck customization is key, utilizing special cards like Planet cards (modifying specific poker hands and allowing for hand upgrades) and Tarot cards (altering card rank or suit, sometimes adding bonus chips).
