Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Dates, Locations, and More!

Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza taking place across three global cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

Further event specifics will be revealed in March 2025. Remember, event details are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, gameplay enhancements, and bonuses. In-person attendees will experience unique city-specific features and activities. Ticket purchase is required for both in-person and online participation.

Expect rare Pokémon encounters not available through standard gameplay, boosted Shiny Pokémon rates, and location-based habitat variations. In-person events include exclusive merchandise, themed sets, community hubs, and team lounges. While details are limited, expect a similar format to previous years.

Two More January Events!

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest 2025, Niantic announced two exciting events for January 2025:

Fashion Week: Taken Over:

• Date: January 15th, 2025, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 2025, 8:00 pm (local time)
• Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni.
• Debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai from 12 km Eggs.
• Appearances of Shadow Snivy, Tepig, and other Shadow Pokémon.
• Chance to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk via snapshots.

Shadow Raid Day: Shadow Ho-Oh!

• Date: January 19th, 2025, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (local time)
• Five-Star Shadow Raids featuring Shadow Ho-Oh.
• $5 USD ticket grants 8 additional Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chance, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids.
• Boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate.
• Opportunity to teach Ho-Oh its signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
