PlayStation Plus Games for April 2025 Revealed

by Finn Apr 05,2025

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of PlayStation Plus Essential titles for April 2025, featuring RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These games were announced in a recent PlayStation.Blog post and will be available to subscribers starting April 1, until the next set of games arrives on May 5.

The April 2025 selection caters to a variety of gaming preferences. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, is a first-person shooter that immerses players in the role of Alex Murphy, tasked with saving a crime-ridden Detroit. A significant update in January of the previous year introduced a New Game Plus mode, enhancing the replay value. Our review at launch awarded it a 7/10, praising its faithful recreation of the '80s atmosphere.

For those seeking intense multiplayer action, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital and Gun Media offers an asymmetrical experience where players either survive or hunt as part of the Slaughter Family. This game, which simulates the terror of facing Leatherface, received a 6/10 in our review, noted for its thrilling yet technically challenging gameplay.

Rounding out the lineup, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory from Bandai Namco provides a more relaxed pace with its turn-based monster collecting gameplay. Released in 2018, it expands the digital world with over 320 Digimon to encounter and collect, offering a fresh perspective on the original Cyber Sleuth narrative.

As these titles become available next week, PlayStation Plus subscribers should also remember to download the March 2025 titles—Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection—before they are no longer available on March 31. This strong lineup presents a great opportunity for both subscribers and potential new members to enrich their gaming libraries.
