Hotta Studio's ambitious new project Neverness to Everness has reached a crucial development phase with closed beta registration now active. Dubbed the Containment Test, this PC-only beta provides exclusive early access to the urban open-world action RPG's unique fusion of supernatural chaos, exploration, and Esper-based abilities.

Set within the expansive metropolis of Hethereau, Neverness to Everness delivers a world where paranormal phenomena coexist with fast-paced action and lifestyle elements. Those familiar with the trailers will recognize its signature bizarre aesthetic - sentient graffiti-decked skateboards, otters with TV screen heads, and an ever-present undercurrent of nocturnal weirdness.

Players will investigate mysterious anomalies using supernatural Esper powers while balancing ordinary city life with extraordinary encounters. The beta serves as an early showcase for the game's distinctive mechanics that differentiate it within the genre.

Breaking conventions of traditional open-world RPGs, the game emphasizes vehicular gameplay with customizable cars and realistic crash physics.
