Monster Train Hits Android: Roguelite Deck-Builder Inspired by Slay the Spire

Monster Train, a roguelite deck-building game, arrives on Android. Initially launched on PC in 2020, followed by consoles and iOS in 2022, it draws comparisons to Slay the Spire for its genre and mechanics.

What’s New in Monster Train for Android?

Guide a train bound for hell’s icy core, defending the last burning pyre from celestial foes.

Unique to Monster Train, three vertical lanes challenge you to manage battles across multiple fronts simultaneously.

Unlock over 250 cards across five distinct monster clans, each with unique playstyles. Combine two clans for diverse strategies.

Each clan offers ten upgrade levels, unlocking stronger cards as you progress. Champions, key players, can be upgraded multiple times.

The Android release includes all updates, like Wild Mutations, adding 35 new mutators and tougher difficulty options, and Friends & Foes, introducing new champions, bosses, cards, and artifacts.

The Last Divinity DLC boosts replayability with the Wurmkin clan, unlocked after beating Covenant level 1. The Pact Shards mechanic offers power but pits you against a formidable final boss, The Last Divinity.
