Monster Hunter Wilds Update 1 Launches Early April, Introduces Endgame Hub

by Liam Apr 15,2025

Capcom has unveiled exciting details about the first major patch for Monster Hunter Wilds, set to launch in early April. Following the game's massive debut, Capcom shared insights on Title Update 1 via a post on Steam, emphasizing that the update, arriving just over a month after the game's release, "will give hunters ample time to gear up for the new content and challenges ahead."

Title Update 1 promises to ramp up the difficulty, introducing a monster of unprecedented strength, surpassing even the Tempered level. "Prepare your gear, and resolve, hunters!" Capcom urged, hinting at the arrival of another challenging creature with the update.

In a unique addition, Title Update 1 will introduce an endgame gathering spot for players. "A new place to meet, communicate, enjoy meals, and more with fellow hunters will be added to Monster Hunter Wilds in TU1!" Capcom announced. This new area will be accessible to those who have completed the main storyline, encouraging players to continue their hunting journey and be ready for what's to come.

Reactions to the news of an endgame social hub have been mixed. While some players appreciate the addition, others question its absence at the game's launch. This new space sounds reminiscent of the Gathering Hubs from previous Monster Hunter titles, though Capcom has opted not to label it as such. The game currently lacks a dedicated social hub, so this update could potentially fill that gap.

Capcom has also released images showcasing this new gathering place, giving players a glimpse of what to expect:
