Monster Hunter Wilds Fans Can Earn Pre-Launch Bonus Items

Niantic and Capcom have exciting news for fans of the Monster Hunter series: a collaboration event between the mobile game Monster Hunter Now and the eagerly awaited Monster Hunter Wilds. This event, set to run from February 3, 2025, at 9 am to March 31, 2025, at 11:59 pm (local time), promises a variety of quests and exclusive bonus items, giving players a taste of what's to come before the official launch of Monster Hunter Wilds.

Capcom has also scheduled a second open beta test for Monster Hunter Wilds in February 2025, which will include content from the first test, a new monster hunt, and character carryover. In the meantime, fans can immerse themselves in the augmented reality world of Monster Hunter Now, where their real-world location influences their interaction with the game's creatures.

During the special event, players can participate in limited-time Monster Hunter Wilds Collab Event Quests within Monster Hunter Now. Completing these quests will reward players with a gift code that can be redeemed for exclusive items in Monster Hunter Wilds, such as Mega Potions, Energy Drinks, and Dust of Life. To obtain the gift code, players should navigate to the hunter menu in Monster Hunter Now, where it will be generated for the selected platform.

Monster Hunter Now's Season 4, dubbed "Roars from the Winterwind," began in December and will continue until March 12, 2025. This season brings a new habitat, additional monsters, and the introduction of the Switch Axe as a new weapon type. Players logging in during the collaboration event can receive various supply items, including Weapon Refining Parts and Armor Refining Parts. Additionally, limited-time packs featuring Special Carving Knives and Hunting Tickets will be available from the in-game shop and web store.

Monster Hunter Wilds, slated for release in 2025, is generating significant buzz alongside other anticipated titles like Avowed, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Nintendo’s Pokemon Legends: Z-A, and the highly awaited Grand Theft Auto 6. As a follow-up to 2018's Monster Hunter: World, Wilds will feature multiple open-world biomes, 14 weapon types, and support for four-player co-op multiplayer. A unique addition to the game is the Seikret mount, enabling players to carry two weapons during hunts, adding a new layer of strategy to the gameplay.
