Although Konami has yet to confirm the trailer on their social media platforms, the news has brought much-needed reassurance to fans after nearly two years of anticipation.

First announced during the PlayStation Showcase in May 2023, the game was originally slated for a 2024 release. However, subsequent trailers at the Xbox Games Showcase and Tokyo Game Show focused on gameplay footage, delaying the release to 2025. "The Delta symbol (Δ) was chosen because its meaning fits the concept of the remake project. Delta means ‘change’ or ‘difference’ without changing structure," they explained in a May 2023 post.

An iconic ape from the series was spotted taunting the viewer before dashing away, hinting at a new "Snake Vs. Monkey" mode. While details remain scarce, the trailer's ending teased further collaborations, promising "And more…" to keep fans eagerly anticipating what's to come.
