One More Level, the studio behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has revealed a new project: Cyber Slash. Known for their fast-paced, brutal action games, One More Level is branching out with a title set in a drastically different era.

While simultaneously developing Project Swift (slated for a 2028 release), One More Level unveiled an image hinting at Cyber Slash's unique setting.

Cyber Slash transports players to the first half of the 19th century, offering a dark and twisted reimagining of the Napoleonic era. Expect an epic adventure featuring legendary heroes battling unknown forces and terrifying threats.

Gameplay promises a challenging and action-packed experience, diverging from the Souls-like formula. While parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses remain core mechanics, the protagonist will undergo mutations throughout the game, adding a unique progression element. This departure from the Ghostrunner style suggests a fresh and exciting experience for fans of the studio's work.
