Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Inspired by Iconic Horror Manga

Prepare for a chilling collaboration! Dead by Daylight (DbD), the popular asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, is partnering with renowned Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito to bring his iconic creations to life as terrifying new character skins.

A Collection of Nightmares: Eight New Skins

This exclusive Junji Ito collection features eight horrifying skins inspired by Ito's most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." The collection includes skins for both Killers and Survivors.

Killers receiving new skins are The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with unique audio and sound effects. The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, while The Artist will receive a Miss Fuchi (from "Rumors") skin. Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also receive new Ito-inspired looks.

Junji Ito himself was involved in the process, expressing delight at seeing his characters adapted for the game. In a video shared on Dead by Daylight's official X (formerly Twitter) account, he commented on how his creations became even more frightening within the DbD universe. He even participated in a gameplay session, taking on the role of The Artist as Miss Fuchi.

The Junji Ito collection will be available starting January 7th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare to face your fears!
