Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 arrives January 22nd, introducing new agents Astra and Evelyn, exciting new game modes, and performance optimizations. Astra Yao, an Ether Support agent, and Evelyn Chevalier, a Fire Attack agent, debut as S-Rank characters in Phases 1 and 2 respectively. Version 1.5 also boasts new story content, the S-Rank Bangboo unit Snap, rewarding check-in events, further game optimizations, returning character banners, and fresh character costumes.

Version 1.4 marked a significant milestone, concluding several launch events and introducing the highly anticipated Hoshimi Miyabi. As Version 1.4 concludes, HoYoverse unveiled Version 1.5's details in a dedicated Special Program livestream.

The highlight of Version 1.5 for many will be the addition of two new S-Rank Agents. Astra Yao, an Ether Support agent (a rarity, joining only Nicole and Zhu Yuan), arrives in Phase 1, alongside her W-Engine, Elegant Vanity. Phase 2, starting February 12th, introduces Evelyn Chevalier, a Fire Attack Bodyguard agent, and her W-Engine, Heartstring Nocturne.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 Launches January 22nd

Beyond Astra and Evelyn, Version 1.5 offers a wealth of new content. A new special story expands the narrative following Version 1.4's conclusion. The S-Rank Bangboo unit, Snap, becomes available, alongside new check-in events, additional game optimizations, and enhancements to existing activities. Players can experience the new Hollow Zero phase, "Cleanse Calamity," and the arcade game, "Mach 25." New costumes for Ellen, Nicole, and Astra Yao are also included.

A highly anticipated feature finally arrives with Version 1.5: banner reruns. Mirroring HoYoverse's other titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero allows players to obtain past S-Rank agents. Phase 1 features Ellen Joe and her W-Engine, while Phase 2 introduces Qingyi and her W-Engine.
