Hearthstone Unveils Season 8: Trinkets & Travels with New Passive Boosts

Hearthstone enthusiasts, get ready for an exhilarating ride with the launch of Season 8, which brings a whirlwind of new features, heroes, and cards to Battlegrounds. This season is packed with enhancements and changes that are sure to excite regular players.

Following the Perils in Paradise update, Hearthstone Season 8 introduces Trinkets as the latest must-have power-ups. With a total of 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets available, and the possibility of doubling up on some, these game-changers are set to spice up your gameplay. You'll have the chance to pick from four Trinket options on turns 6 and 9, tailored to your hero and Warband composition. Whether you're running an Elemental, Dragon, or Murloc strategy, there's a Trinket that will complement your playstyle.

Hearthstone Season 8: A Bit of Housecleaning

Season 8 is also doing some housekeeping, with 41 minions being removed from the game. However, this shake-up brings back 22 fan-favorite minions, introduces 27 new minions, and adds 2 fresh Tavern spells to the mix.

Additionally, four new cards are joining the fray. The Free Travel Winner (Tier 2) is a 2/2 minion that vanishes after surviving combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward. Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4) enhances your lower-tier minions, while Lucky Egg (Tier 5) lets you transform into a Golden Tier 3 minion. Finally, Sun Screener (Tier 6) is a 10/1 minion that grants Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.

From August 27th to September 17th, don't miss out on the Marin Resort’s Treasure Hunt, an event filled with quests. Completing these will earn you a total of 14 packs, including some from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang’s Workshop.
