Global Perspectives at Your Fingertips: 'Go Lick the World' Pioneers Current Affairs Engagement

by Caleb Feb 14,2025

It's a tough job preventing politicians from uttering gaffes. Take President Biden's infamous "go lick the world" comment, for example – a moment that surely caused White House staff worldwide to cringe. This inspired the creation of Go Lick The World, a satirical casual clicker game from Pixel Play.

This game cleverly blends the absurdity of current events with the addictive nature of casual gaming. The objective? To virtually "lick" the world as fast as possible (using your finger, of course!). The game features a rotating 3D Earth, orbited by a constantly evolving array of objects.

Tap the planet (water or land) to score points and climb the leaderboard. Boost your score by tapping LickLink satellites (a nod to Starlink), F35 jets, electric cars, and even Lick Force One (President Biden's plane).

The Earth itself is adorned with tongue-in-cheek landmarks: the White House, Antarctica, the pyramids, and a less-than-pristine San Francisco. The game's quirky content changes daily, featuring Impeach-Mints on Mondays, tacos on Tuesdays, Swifties on Saturdays, and pizza slices for Pizzagate enthusiasts.

Unlockable Earth skins and accessories add another layer of humor, including a "clown world" face, various hats (trucker hats, Uncle Sam, a Texas cowboy hat with a censored border sign), solar eclipse glasses, and more. These are earned by watching rewarded ads. A recent "Great Debate Update" even added a certain prominent figure's iconic hairstyle.

Go Lick The World is free to download, but in-app purchases are available to remove ads, enable auto-clicking (introducing LickGPT!), and obtain a coveted blue tick for your profile.

Download Go Lick The World now on the App Store and Google Play Store.

UPDATE: The Great Debate Update includes trucker hats representing both sides of the political spectrum, and, yes, Trump's hair.
