First Glimpse of the Early Version of The Sinking City 2

A new teaser for The Sinking City 2 showcases core gameplay pillars: intense combat, atmospheric location exploration, and compelling investigations—all integral to the experience. While the footage is from a pre-alpha build, expect significant refinements to gameplay, graphics, and animations before launch.

This survival horror sequel directly continues the story of the original, unfolding in the ravaged city of Arkham. A supernatural flood has consumed the city, transforming it into a monstrous, decaying landscape.

To bolster development and reward fans, Frogwares has launched a Kickstarter campaign aiming to raise €100,000 (approximately $105,000). These funds will also support playtesting, ensuring the game is polished to perfection before release. The game is being developed using Unreal Engine 5.

The Sinking City 2 is slated for release in 2025 on current-gen consoles (Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5) and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG).
