Free Fire to debut new Winterlands: Aurora event to mark the festive season

Free Fire's Winterlands 2024 update brings a frosty chill to the battlegrounds! This exciting update introduces Koda, a new character with unique arctic abilities, enhanced movement mechanics, and seasonal events.

Koda, a young man from the arctic, utilizes a mystical fox mask granting him Aurora Vision. This ability allows him to detect enemies hidden behind cover (excluding those crouching or prone) and highlights enemy positions during parachuting.

The highlight of the update is Frosty Tracks – ice-covered rails that let players dash across the map while shooting, maneuvering, and using throwables. Strategically placed Coin Machines along these tracks reward players with 100 FF coins, collectible even while gliding. Frosty Tracks appear in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.

Winterlands 2024 also features Aurora Events in both game modes. Battle Royale boasts aurora-affected Coin Machines, while Clash Squad includes aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Completing event quests by interacting with these special items provides buffs for the entire team.
