FFVII Remake and Rebirth Patch Fixes Controller Issues
Fixes for Final Fantasy VII Remake are now available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. This update addresses controller vibration issues. The game follows Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER, as he fights alongside Avalanche to prevent Shinra Electric Power Company from destroying the planet.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the sequel continuing the story beyond Midgar, receives update 1.080. This update enhances the game's atmosphere and realism, improving the haptic feedback. The PC version launches January 23, 2025. This second installment expands the story and emphasizes exploration.
While Final Fantasy XVI initially underperformed in May 2024, sales eventually slowed, ultimately falling short of projected fiscal year targets. Specific sales figures remain undisclosed. Similarly, Square Enix has not revealed sales data for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which also missed internal projections.
However, Square Enix clarified that they don't consider Final Fantasy VII Rebirth a complete failure and remain confident that Final Fantasy XVI can still meet its targets within the 18-month timeframe.
