Farlight 84 Drops New Expansion With Pets Called ‘Hi, Buddy!’

Farlight 84's new expansion, "Hi, Buddy!", arrives today, bringing exciting additions to the game. Key features include a Buddy System, map enhancements, and new events.

Adorable Allies: The Buddy System

The star of the show is the Buddy System, introducing cute and helpful pets to the battlefield. These Buddies offer in-game assistance, and come in two varieties: Common and Archon. Common Buddies are easily acquired and possess useful abilities, while rarer Archon Buddies boast significantly more powerful skills.

Buddies are obtained using Buddy Orbs, found scattered across the map. These Orbs also serve as tactical item storage, holding up to six items simultaneously.

Ten Buddies are currently available: Common Buddies Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy; and Archon Buddies Time Dominator (capable of manipulating the Safe Zone) and Storm Empress (who summons damaging tornadoes).

The Sunder Realms map has received a significant update, featuring new terrain, structures, and landmarks including ramps, improved buildings, giant duck statues, and floating boulders.

A new Tactical Core system allows players to upgrade hero skills and unlock new abilities using Trait points earned through leveling up. However, Trait Activation Cards are required to maximize these abilities.

Exciting events, including the Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event, offer valuable rewards such as skins and loot boxes.
