Epic Games Store Goes Mobile: 20 New Games, Free Game Offer

After months of anticipation, Epic Games has finally launched its store on mobile devices, bringing the Epic Games Store to Android users worldwide. To celebrate this milestone, Epic is offering a range of exciting rewards, free games, and more, making it a fantastic time to dive into their mobile offerings.

Which Games Are Available on the Mobile Epic Games Store?

Epic Games is shining the spotlight on three major titles: Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Excitingly, Fall Guys is now available for mobile and can be downloaded for free directly from the Epic Games Store. By downloading the Epic Games Store app and these games on your mobile device, you can participate in in-game challenges to unlock unique cosmetics. These include a specially designed Fortnite outfit with matching back bling, pickaxe, and wrap, as well as a new Fall Guys bean costume.

Additional rewards are up for grabs too, such as a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim that you can use in both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. Keep in mind, these quests are exclusive to the mobile platform.

It’s Not Just About Their Big Three Games

The Epic Games Store on mobile isn't just about their flagship titles. Nearly 20 third-party games from various developers have also made their way onto the platform. Epic has also launched its Free Games program for mobile, starting with Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee, which is available for free on both Android and iOS through the Epic Games Store app until February 20th.

Playdigious has joined the fray, making two of their popular games, Shapez and Evoland 2, available on the Epic Store. They're also planning to add Cultist Simulator in the coming weeks. Another eagerly anticipated title, Bloons TD 6, is set to arrive soon. While the free games are currently offered on a monthly basis, Epic plans to transition to weekly free games later this year.

Despite the challenges posed by Apple and Google in downloading third-party app stores, Epic Games is making strides to overcome these hurdles, enhancing gaming accessibility for everyone. What are your thoughts on this development? Share your comments below.
