EA Play Bids Farewell to Two Titles in February 2025

Get ready, EA Play subscribers! February 2025 marks the departure of two popular titles from EA's subscription service. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15th, followed by F1 22 on February 28th. This removal doesn't signify a complete shutdown of the games themselves; online multiplayer functionality may persist, though this is not guaranteed long-term. However, these games will no longer be accessible through your EA Play subscription after their respective removal dates. Fans are encouraged to enjoy these titles while they remain available.

Key Dates for EA Play Departures:

  • Madden NFL 23: February 15th, 2025
  • F1 22: February 28th, 2025

Adding to the February shake-up, UFC 3's online services will cease operation on February 17th, 2025. The game's availability on EA Play after this date is uncertain, rendering much of its core functionality unplayable.

Looking Ahead:

While the loss of these games is regrettable, EA Play subscribers have plenty to look forward to. Newer installments in each franchise – Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4 – will remain accessible. Furthermore, UFC 5 is slated to join the EA Play library on January 14th, 2025, offering a fresh fighting experience. The addition of new titles helps mitigate the disappointment of losing older games from the service.
