by Camila Feb 14,2025

Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open for sign-ups!

Fans eagerly awaiting the mobile port of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will need to adjust their calendars. The release has been pushed back to February 2025. However, to soften the blow, Black Salt Games has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.

In Dredge, players take on the role of a fisherman in the eerie town of Greater Marrow. Initially, the job involves the simple task of catching and selling fish. However, the idyllic setting soon unravels, revealing strange sea creatures, mysterious beings, and unsettling events on a nearby island, all threatening the fisherman's sanity.

A Challenging Port

The delay is understandable, considering the game's expansive world and the complexities of adapting it for mobile devices. The additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing for valuable player feedback before the official launch. This ensures a polished and enjoyable experience for mobile players.
