DOOM: Dark Ages Unveils Gameplay, Sets Release Date

Bethesda and id Software unveiled a fresh DOOM: The Dark Ages gameplay demo during the Xbox showcase, confirming earlier leaks pointing to a May 15th release date.

Transporting players to the medieval era, The Dark Ages promises a distinct gameplay experience from its predecessors. Players will embody a powerful, tank-like combatant, a far cry from the frenetic, parkour-heavy action of DOOM: Eternal. Expect grounded combat utilizing a diverse arsenal to obliterate demonic hordes.

Central to this brutal efficiency are a shield and mace. A unique addition is the inclusion of a colossal mech suit for battling smaller demons, and even the opportunity to ride a dragon during the campaign.

The game will boast a customizable difficulty system, allowing players to fine-tune the challenge, enemy damage output, and other parameters to their preference.
